Sun the constant we can't control

Published 16/12/2015

According to the February 2007 edition of National Geographic magazine, scientists had at that time identified evidence of "global warming" on Mars.

On that planet there are no power stations, no SUVs and - as far as we can tell - no Martians. Nevertheless, the polar icecaps on Mars were showing signs of melting.

Now, the common denominator here is the sun. And if the sun itself is heating up, as it does from time to time, then all measures to resolve "man-made climate change" are worse than useless.

In the USA, one of the biggest energy-guzzlers on Earth, politicians have to pretend to believe in God in order to be elected.

They would surely be better employed praying to that God, asking Him to please turn the sun down a little.
