Switch will cost BBC listeners

As a listener to BBC Radio 2's Sunday Hour programme, I write to criticise the decision to reschedule the broadcast to the ridiculously early slot of 6am-7am.

When I complained the BBC told me that as Sunday evening figures have declined more people might hear it at the earlier time. I was also told people could hear it at any time if they had access to modern technology, which I don't.

I feel the BBC will lose a lot of listeners who don't have access to a computer or the iPlayer and who, like me, have no wish to get up at this ungodly hour to listen to the programme.

I would urge other listeners to complain to the BBC about this.
