IS the ascendancy of Isis not the perfect remedy for the West's predicament in Syria, where its strategic role in supporting the terrorist opposition and the need to increase that support due to dogged resistance from the Assad regime?
They're hoping that the public will accept the West's increased role in the Syrian conflict – more arms, more funding – as long as their support is for the non-Isis elements within the opposition.
But the strange thing is that Isis is fighting with US arms – abandoned by Iraqi soldiers, we are led to believe. The West's lies are beginning to find them out.
