Syria stance makes UK and USA hypocrites

Are there two Britains and two USAs in the world? There are two countries of that name in the UN condemning Syria for its violence towards other human beings resulting in many deaths.
Then there are two countries of the same name who are leading thousands of trained, paid killers into Afghanistan where tens of thousands of civilians have been killed in the last 10 years.
Then we had Libya with the UN no-fly zone where several countries then flew 10,000 planeloads of bombs into this no-fly zone, resulting in death and devastation to a whole country.
The above countries' actions could be the reason Russia and China vetoed this latest demand for another war.
Let the reader judge if the UK and USA are fit and proper judges, or if double-standards and hypocrisy are at work.
