I would like to reply to R W Stothard (Write Back, July 25). We run a cafe across the road from the Titanic building, which offers free parking and free tea and coffee to coach drivers.
I understand the frustration of this coach driver; however, I don't believe that Belfast and The National Trust (as the gentleman refers to them) are solely responsible for making visitors to Belfast and Northern Ireland welcome.
Surely it is up to individual business-owners to identify tourism opportunities and take advantage of them - profitably?
The issue taken by this coach driver is one which our team at T13 in Belfast's Titanic Quarter has identified as an opportunity.
We have negotiated a free coach park at the side of our building and offer free tea and coffee to all coach drivers, as well as quick and convenient catering options for visiting groups.
We believe that the value and convenience these kind of projects can create for visitors in this high-profile year are those which will really influence return visits.
