Thanks for a wonderful time, despite the result
I just wanted to drop you a line having got back home after an absolutely fantastic weekend in Northern Ireland.
Putting the 80 minutes on the pitch aside as a Leicester fan (oh dear, but I still love my boys), we had a brilliant time at Ravenhill and in Belfast generally.
We couldn't have been made to feel more welcome, before, during and after the game. The majority of folk sat beside us were Ulster fans and were just fantastic - people made sure we knew where we had to be and helped us find our way afterwards, including a fabulous taxi-driver who took pity on us in the city-centre and gave us a ride back to our hotel after we got a bit lost.
He said he couldn't bring himself to charge us after we'd had such a bad night. Our hotel (Ramada) was excellent and all the staff really went the extra mile to give us a great weekend.
Thank you to everyone for an amazing time. The atmosphere was just superb, particularly the rousing chorus as the team ran onto the pitch at the start of the game, which gave me goosebumps.
We will certainly be back when the next opportunity presents itself for a cracking match and some time in a wonderful city.
Well done on your thoroughly deserved win. Hope you manage to do the same to the French and go well in the knockout stages.
If you get to the final, we'll be joining you to Stand Up For The Ulstermen.
