The Bible can confirm scientific accuracies
Bernard J Mulholland (Write Back, October 11) wrote excitedly about the article just published in British Archaeology, which reported the evidence that genome studies of four prehistoric individuals, whose bodies were excavated in Ireland, all showed significant evidence of immigration from the greater Middle East area. The Belfast Telegraph had actually reported this study on December 29.
And, in my most recent letter I pointed out that this is no surprise to anyone who reads the Bible, since it accurately records the history of mankind.
All human beings in the world are descended from the eight people that God saved from the worldwide flood some 4,500 years ago.
If scientists took more seriously the history of mankind as recorded in the Bible, they would not be surprised when their research confirms the accuracy of its record.
