My parents, who are pensioners now back in South Africa, have asked me to write and thank publicly the lady and young man in the Shell filling station, on the main Bangor-Belfast road at Cultra, who were so helpful to them when their car had a puncture on Wednesday, October 3.
There were also two good Samaritans, passing motorists, who kindly changed the wheel for them and would accept no recompense. They did not find out the names of these kind people, but would like them to know how much their help was appreciated.
