The US is main threat to peace

As the United States frets over Iran's supposed nuclear programme, the US continues its unilateral militarisation of outer space, is involved in the research and development of low-yield, or 'usable', nuclear weapons, has threatened on numerous occasions to use nuclear weapons against foreign states, has accepted a policy of a nuclear pre-emptive first strike and, on New Year's Eve, President Obama signed a Congressional bill that does away with due process for anyone suspected of terrorism in America (Bush suspended Habeas Corpus in 2006).

We have dictators closer to home to worry about, but we watch as more sabre-rattling foreshadows another build-up to another violent overthrow and wealth-grab in another foreign country.
