There shouldn't be such a fuss over adviser

Why is there so much uproar about Mary McArdle being a political adviser for Sinn Fein in the Assembly when others involved in the conflict are serving as MLAs and ministers.

Eventually, Britain has always had to talk to, and accept the people who took up arms against it in the countries they occupied - America, India, Kenya, Malaya, South Africa, Cypress and Aden.

Northern Ireland exists, and had ongoing conflict, because Ireland was divided against the will of the majority of its people.

Talking to former enemies is part of any process of peace and reconciliation.

I do not believe there will be genuine peace and equality until Britain withdraws from Ireland completely, so that the people of the whole of Ireland can govern themselves.
