There's work to be done, Martin
Your columnists Maurice Hayes (Comment, September 20) and Fionola Meredith (Comment, September 21) both rightly allude to the need for Martin McGuinness to stay because there is work to do. Yes, but how is it that Martin doesn't see it this way? Remember the line from The French Connection, Marty - 'I'd rather be a lamp-post in New York than the president of France'? Give us the tools and we will finish the job? You've got them on a plate, pal.
