John Dallat states that Martin McGuinness and Peter Robinson are getting us nowhere. He says that the DUP and Sinn Fein alone cannot overcome the problems we face.
Maybe then we should go back to 1998 when the UUP and the SDLP held the two main posts.
First the Assembly was up, then it was down, then it was up and then it was down, then it was up, and then it collapsed completely.
While the DUP and Sinn Fein may have their differences at least under them the Assembly is halfway through a second term without it collapsing.
