Time we were included on the European Tour

Following the success of Graeme McDowell and now Rory McIlroy in the US Open, surely it is now time that The Open golf championship returned to Northern Ireland?

Is it not now also time that Northern Ireland had an annual tournament on the European Tour?

According to the world-renowned Golf Magazine, we have two courses in the top 13 in the world - Royal County Down at number seven and Royal Portrush at number 13.

What is the problem with holding a regular event at these courses? I think that the Northern Ireland Open would be a great addition to the European Tour.
