TUV man can nail colours to his chest

Tuv councillor Boyd Douglas should desist from displaying his desk-top Union flag at Limavady Borough Council meetings as it obviously causes considerable distress to Sinn Fein.

Instead, Mr Douglas should don a Union flag waistcoat with matching tie and, as orange lilies are now coming into bloom, perhaps one in his lapel - exercising his human right to attire himself as he pleases.

Surely even Mayor Sean McGlinchey cannot demand that Mr Douglas remove his clothing before entering Limavady council chamber.
