TV switch show was too rushed

It was useful to read the TV digital switch-over information (News, October 15) and the reference to the 'simulcast' Magic Box programme.

But it was disappointing to see how much of a hurry Eamonn Holmes appeared to be in, speaking to each guest in an almost production-line fashion.

I felt that his treatment of James Ellis was particularly regrettable and, to my mind, verged on being rude when Eamonn interrupted James as he went to mention his father. He said he would speak further later, but he didn't.

I think that the programme could have been planned much better, giving more time to the guests who were interviewed.
