Ulster’s not for merging

The merger of the UUP and Tories will be good for unionism, providing enough unionists vote for the new party.

However, I loathe the way the UUP insisited that the word Ulster be included in the name.

On the one hand, the same people would not be in favour of a referendum across Ulster on uniting Northern Ireland with the Republic, but on the other hand they want to claim

that they are an Ulster party. In reality they are a party of Northern Ireland. A title espousing the reality of their position would be welcome.
