Is Tom Elliott's message clear? No, says this Ulster Unionist foot-soldier.
Our two 'lieutenants' - Mike Nesbitt and Basil McCrea - both appear to convey a different message; fighting for the top post, one could surmise.
Lieutenant Nesbitt appears to be showing the best form for promotion at this time, with an evidently strong work ethic and risk-taking ability.
More dissent from the ranks is also apparent, however, with Sergeant's Major Cosgrove and Campbell apparently reading from a different set of orders than HQ are distributing.
My advice: control the troops, Major, or face the consequence of inaction.
