Using ex-RUC is snub to victims

Since 2007, when the issue of employment of former RUC members by the PSNI came to light, victims and relatives of victims have been asking questions.

They have been ignored. Their concerns have not been considered worthy of attention.

Yet when two ex-RUC officers voice concerns, they get an immediate response in the form of an investigation into the PSNI policy of employing ex-RUC.

Clearly this shows that victims of the RUC do not deserve the consideration of policy-makers at Stormont.
