Could BBC NI please show Have I Got News For You and all other network programmes at the correct national scheduled time instead of pushing them about the schedules to accommodate the vastly inferior rubbish they insist on inflicting on us?
As if this isn't bad enough, they then repeat them, displacing more programmes. In Chris Thornton's excellent article in the Belfast Telegraph last August, Ailsa Orr, BBC Northern Ireland's head of programmes, says: “We're making fewer, bigger, better programmes” ... “and because we're investing more, we wanted to move them into peak time slots.”
I'm afraid they would have been better investing in some quality control as the majority of these programmes should have been left on the cutting room floor.
Come on BBC, stop driving viewers away and give us network programmes at the correct time.
