Warped view of Ukip is unfair

I WAS saddened to read Mohammed Samaana's vitriolic piece (DebateNI, April 14), letting his own mask slip in airing his personal feelings on Ukip. I repudiate this appalling slur by him.

I get the picture, however. Mohammed clearly has a reason for presenting a warped opinion of Ukip. Right now I can do nothing about his view.

However, I would welcome the earliest opportunity to meet him and discuss his article. I would like very much to appreciate his thinking and trust, as a result, we might reach an understanding.

I am an upfront, hands-on politician who rejects racism and sectarianism and stands up for unionism.

Perhaps Mohammed could make a better judgment after our meeting?
