We are all HM's loyal subjects – even in Ardoyne
WHY should one British subject try to stop another marching the roads of Northern Ireland?
The Ardoyne shops pay tax to Her Majesty's Government, do they not? How can there be order without loyalty to the Crown?
Here, even the most disadvantaged person is still the sovereign's loyal subject; a personal relationship with the head of state.
This dignity is denied a republican. If you end up poor in a republic, you're just a failure.
The loyal orders cannot compromise their dignity.
