We must protect the unborn child

Published 04/11/2015

WITH the increasing scientific knowledge about unborn babies and with what we know now about what is done with baby parts after abortion since the scandal of Planned Parenthood has been exposed, I am amazed that Fionola Meredith still calls for the abortion laws to be weakened (DebateNI, October 30).

Doctors have made mistakes and told mothers their babies had fatal abnormalities, yet those babies have been born perfect and even in cases of rape and incest, horrendous though they are, does killing the innocent baby make the situation any better?

Abortion is not a human right according to the UN, though many try to say it is. But it is murder, though it is not PC to call it that.

Surely we should protect the most vulnerable human beings of all - the unborn?
