I HAVE no difficulty when someone expresses their political preference in a fitting manner.
But it is a completely different situation when that someone is a clergyman. I am referring to Fr Michael Canny sharing a platform with Martin McGuinness.
As a Catholic, I am concerned that a priest should link the Church to McGuinness's election campaign when many victims of the republican movement lie buried in the bogs of Ireland.
Has Fr Canny no thought for the families who wish to give their loved-ones a Christian burial?
