What exactly is business as usual for Stormont?

Published 11/09/2015

So nearly three weeks after the PSNI confirmed what every right thinking person knew, the DUP has decided to speak. After attacking the UUP for taking a stand against the continuance of Sinn Fein in government with a still active PIRA, Peter Robinson says it is "no longer business as usual".

I would like Peter to tell us exactly what is business as usual.

The Executive has not met over the summer, Sinn Fein ministers remain in place, there is no resolution to the welfare reform impasse, there is no resolution to the legacy of the past, and PIRA remains in place. So no change there. Stormont has trundled on and the gravy train rumbled on.
