What price an Irish Language Act?

The sticking point at Stormont seems to be the Irish Language Act, but Sinn Fein haven't spelt out what it implies in terms of initial and annual cost.

Will it involve every aspect of official life being repeated in Irish, with translators needed in the courts and civil service, not to mention new street signs?

If this should be the case, the outlay would be tremendous for what will only be a hobby, minority language. But please do quantify the costs, so that an informed judgment may be made.
