Two SAS soldiers, dressed as Arabs and caught driving a booby-trapped vehicle in Basra in 2005, were rescued within 24 hours.
Three of the British Army soldiers involved in the rescue were later honoured for their bravery.
One type of terrorism is honoured; another is outlawed. What does this tell us about the society we live in? It says that we live in a hypocritical society.
Maybe it's because our system is based on a lie. Our economic system is based on profits before people. How can a moral framework be fashioned from a financial system which is unjust and allows people to be contracted into poverty, while profits accrue to wealthy banks?
