Why pander to terrorists with H-Block plan?

While the Executive is spending over £18m for a conflict resolution centre to complement the retention of the H-Blocks at the Maze, it's interesting to note what's happening in Pakistan.

Pakistan has demolished the compound where US forces killed Osama Bin Laden in the north-western city of Abbottabad. They recognised that the building would have the potential to be turned into a shrine by unrepentant al-Qaeda supporters.

It's somewhat ironic that the DUP - working with Sinn Fein - are retaining the very H-Blocks where the IRA initiated a mass escape, where Billy Wright was murdered and where 10 republican hunger strikers died.

At best, this is a sop to terrorism, but realistically it's a shrine to terrorists no matter what way it's dressed up.
