Will Translink show it cares for customers?

I WAS disappointed, but not surprised to learn that Translink services will be withdrawn on Wednesday because of industrial action being taken throughout the UK.

Many commuters - myself included - pay in advance for weekly, monthly, or even yearly train tickets.

As the strike action will mean that I cannot use the service I have paid for, opportunity out of adversity presents itself.

I am always reading about how Translink values its customers. Therefore, will Translink demonstrate this value by compensating loyal customers like me by extending the validity of my train ticket by an extra day in light of the withdrawal of their service?

It is nearly Christmas after all.
