After the exciting display by Carlo Curley at the organ in Ballywillan Presbyterian Church, which I attended last week, there will be organ music aplenty next Monday and Tuesday at the Charles Wood Summer School in Armagh.
The first Northern Ireland International Organ Competition will have three competition categories, with £1,500 prize money.
Organ music adds a distinctive touch, but many performances are spoiled by people talking. Sometimes I wonder why organists bother at all.
