MP 'unsettled' by bedroom tax

Labour has called upcoming changes to housing benefit a "bedroom tax", but Mark Durkan used a more eye-catching phrase when he complained to MPs about the Government's "drive-by hit on the housing benefit budget throughout the UK".
He claimed the changes could harm community relations. "Given the geo-communal tensions in Northern Ireland, a measure that sends out the message, 'You shouldn't be living there, you should move' is unsettling," he said.
