One group of people with intimate knowledge of airports on both sides of the Irish Sea are Northern Ireland's MPs.
While traipsing back and forth to London might not strike many people as glamorous, they are looked on with envy by some.
"At least two flights a week, 30 weeks a year," one London MP remarked recently, as Nigel Dodds bustled past, trailing a wheelie suitcase, about to fly back home. "Just think of the air miles."
