Aggressive charity collectors have come to the attention of Gregory Campbell.

The East Londonderry MP raised the activities of "chuggers" (a portmanteau of 'charity' and 'mugger') with charities minister Nick Hurd at a recent Commons question time.

He said charities must tackle "assertive and over-aggressive actions by charity collectors".

Hurd said chuggers raise "at least £100m a year", but must be "regulated effectively".
