Politicians out of comfort zone

By Tom Moseley

Published 31/10/2012

Sinn Fein came to Westminster last week and an attack on Peter Robinson by chairman Declan Kearney bagged the headlines.

Also speaking on the panel was Lord Glentoran, former bobsleigh champion and one of Northern Ireland's two hereditary peers, who took the session's title, Uncomfortable Conversations, at face-value.

He hit back at Labour's Angela Smith for "playing politics" and told Sinn Fein they had a "mountain to climb" in the path to peace.
