Jim Shannon, of the DUP, baffled MPs when he introduced a "bun worry" to a Westminster Hall debate.
The Strangford MP (below) was describing his type two diabetes during a discussion about the condition, explaining how he had been at the front of the queue for "sweet stuff" whenever one was going on. Labour MP Keith Vaz, who confessed he had never heard the term, said: "I did not know what a bun worry is - I now discover that it is a feast of sweets held in Northern Ireland, from which I am sure that Jim Shannon is kept away."
