Theresa Villiers stumbled in the Commons last week by accusing Vernon Coaker, until recently her Labour shadow, of being "barely seen in Northern Ireland during what was a very difficult parading season". Sammy Wilson also spoke up for Vernon's "enthusiasm, zeal, passion and a concern for people".
