Editor's Viewpoint: Weathering it out

In Northern Ireland the weather is a constant subject of conversation and more often than not we complain about our lot.
It's either too wet, too dry, too cold, too warm or too stormy. Seldom, if ever, are were content with our climate.
However these days we have little to complain about given the arctic conditions embracing most of Europe and large parts of England.
It is not often that somewhere like Rome or the beaches of Croatia are covered in snow while the weather in Northern Ireland is relatively mild.
But it can't last, can it?
