Brian Magee's manager Pat Magee has predicted the biggest win of the Lisburn man's career when he defends his WBA World super-middleweight title against Mikkel Kessler in Herning, Denmark on Saturday night.

Magee is making the first defence of the WBA belt against former champion Kessler, rated one of the best super-middleweights of the past decade having only lost to superstar Andre Ward and former undefeated WBO champion Joe Calzaghe.

At today's press conference in Herning, manager Magee said: "Brian is at the very top of his game, he has just been promoted to world champion after 14 years of working his way up, so he will leave it all in the ring and give everything to defend his title.

"We respect Kessler, but we are here to clinch another victory on Danish soil. Brian has knocked out Mads Larsen and Rudy Markussen and now wants to add Kessler to his list of knock-outs. They call him the Dane-Killer for a reason.”
