Carl Frampton v Leo Santa Cruz: Green and White Army in fine voice for weigh-in

Jackal joins in after bout of Sweet Caroline breaks out

Carl Frampton may be fighting thousands of miles away in the city that never sleeps, but it may have just been round the corner from his north Belfast childhood home in Tiger's Bay, judging by the fans at the weigh in.

The Jackal weighed in for his WBA featherweight title fight against Leo Santa Cruz at 125.5 pounds, while the Mexican came in 125.4lbs in the 126lb limit bout.

And while American-based Santa Cruz may be considered the home fighter it was the Frampton army that made all the noise in the Barclay's Center for the weigh in.

Santa Cruz was even booed.

While Frampton maintained a poker face giving little away.

Although he did join in with the fans for a bit of Sweet Caroline.
