Carl Frampton's wife stands by her man ahead of Belfast fight night

By Cate McCurry

Christine Frampton appeared relaxed and upbeat ahead of husband Carl's big fight tomorrow night in Belfast - despite revealing she suffers from nerves before he steps into the ring.

The mum-of-two was at the boxer's side as he spoke at the final Press conference before his homecoming bout at the SSE Arena against Mexican Andres Gutierrez.

The couple's children, Carla and Rossa, were also in attendance to lend support to their dad.

Christine previously spoke of how she gets nervous and is often restless before Carl's fights.

The Belfast boxer recently opened up about the love and support he receives from his wife and how she has been a rock throughout his career.

"I guess I've never given her enough credit for the support she has been to me right back from my amateur days until now," the 30-year-old said.
