Carl Froch: I'm going to give rude George Groves a pasting
Carl Froch claims he could end the career of the "arrogant, cheeky, disrespectful, downright rude" George Groves this weekend.
Froch puts his IBF and WBA super middleweight titles on the line on Saturday when he faces challenger and fellow Briton Groves at Manchester's Phones4u Arena on Saturday.
The pair have exchanged verbal barbs ahead of the bout, which will be Froch's 14th title fight and Groves' first.
Froch, (36), has not been impressed with some of the things Groves, (25), has said but claims that this has only motivated him more.
The Nottingham fighter, speaking after a conducting a public workout, said: "My motivation is my two world title belts, my legacy and the fact this kid is coming in arrogant, cheeky, downright rude – and I don't like that.
"There is no better job, and no more satisfying job for me to do, other than giving George Groves a pasting. I am looking forward to doing that."
Meanwhile, Martin Rogan may have fought for the last time after being hospitalised due to a broken jaw following his first round knockout defeat at the hands of Erkan Teper at the weekend.
Rogan hinted on Twitter that his career is at an end.
