Frampton v Santa Cruz Las Vegas title rematch to be screened live on Sky Sports

Carl Frampton's mouthwatering title rematch with Leo Santa Cruz is to be screened on Sky, the broadcaster has confirmed.

Frampton claimed a career-best points win over the Mexican in New York in July, cementing his place in boxing history in a match considered fight of the year.

And in January the two will go toe-to-toe again for the WBA featherweight.

Frampton has described the January 28 bout in the Las Vegas MGM Grand as a "dream come true".

And despite a large following of the Green and White Army expected to make the journey across, those not fortunate to be able to make it across the Atlantic will be able to watch the bout on Sky.

Adam Smith, head of Sky Sports Boxing, said: "We're continuing a wonderful start to the year with Carl Frampton's hotly-anticipated rematch against Leo Santa Cruz.

"They produced a classic fight in the summer and we are expecting even more fireworks in Las Vegas next month. "
