Carl Frampton insists he will produce a performance on Saturday that will leave everybody fully aware of who the best super-bantamweight in the UK is.

The Jackal, along with bitter rival Scott Quigg, had a light public work-out in Manchester last night ahead of the biggest fight of their lives and the Belfast man made it clear he would be ruling supreme in their IBF/WBA World title showdown.

"I'm like a kid at Christmas, I'm itching to go. I want to prove that I'm the best super-bantamweight in the UK. There are still some doubters but this is the fight that is going to silence all the doubters," said Frampton.

"They're going to sit up and take notice of me. The doubters will start following me after this."
