Belfast boxer Jamie Conlan remains on course to claim a world boxing title after beating Hungarian David Koos on points at the Titanic Exhibition Centre on Saturday.

The light-flyweight won the bout following a unanimous decision and now awaits a final eliminator for a world title fight.

He told the Sunday Life: "I'm very pleased with my performance, I listened to my corner for once and did the job right. I almost feel disappointed because I like to blast everyone else out, but this was about being smart. Now it's on to the next fight and hopefully that will be the world title eliminator in Belfast, maybe around February."
