Mexican hard man Hugo Cazarez says Carl Frampton's dreams of a World title fight will go up in smoke next Friday night at the Odyssey Arena.

Cazarez and Frampton clash in a WBC World super-bantamweight title final eliminator with the winner to go on and face another Mexican, champion Leo Santa Cruz.

The former two-weight world champion has told Northern Ireland hero Frampton to expect "a war" – and to come off second best.

"It's going to be a war, it has to be war. Frampton has to come and fight in front of his home fans – I'm ready for the war because every day in Mexico is a war," said Cazarez, who touched down in Belfast yesterday.
