Cardiff Devils shocked by Braehead Clan

Elite League leaders the Cardiff Devils suffered a shock 3-1 loss to the Braehead Clan.

Chris Bruton scored his 13th goal of the season as the Clan came from behind to win, Scott Pitt and Ben Davies also on target after Joey Martin's opener.

The Nottingham Panthers established themselves as the Devils' closest challengers, moving up to second with a 5-2 victory at the Manchester Storm. Chris Lawrence was on target twice.

Jordan Pietrus' late goal earned the Coventry Blaze a 3-2 victory at Sheffield Steelers to end the hosts' five-match winning run.

Elsewhere, the Belfast Giants struck three times in the third period to win 3-1 at Edinburgh Capitals and the Dundee Stars edged out the Fife Flyers 5-4.
