David Healy: Davy and Kyle just champion

Blue has been the colour in the past week with Linfield and Rangers winning their respective league titles.

Earlier in the season Linfield were written off and there was pressure on manager David Jeffrey.

In my book that was ridiculous given what he has done for the club, but typically he dug in and so did his players and they were rewarded with the championship when they beat Cliftonville at Windsor Park on Tuesday. I bet that was a good night.

Rangers won the SPL a few days before and it was great to see Kyle Lafferty score the goal that clinched the title.

Like big Davy, Kyle has taken some stick this season, sometimes unfairly according to my dad who is a big Gers fans, but he has answered his critics with some crucial goals lately.
