David Healy: English media get carried away again

One great performance and I see England are going to win the World Cup.

Some things never change.

Have to say though fair play to Fabio Capello’s men, it was a fantastic result for them out in Croatia.

And what a night for Theo Walcott.

To score a hat-trick for your country is so special and I imagine Theo is feeling pretty proud right now.

Obviously England were helped by Croatia going down to 10 men, but to win 4-1 away, against a quality side still takes some doing.

Walcott has pace to burn and he used it to hurt Croatia.

His finishing was top class too.

Arsene Wenger has brought Theo through very slowly in the last few years, but his performance in Zagreb will have everyone wanting a piece of him.

He’s going to be the focus of attention now.

Already with Theo doing so well, David Beckham has been written off.

Again nothing new there but Becks has proved time after time than he can bounce back.

I wouldn’t put it past him to do it once more.
