David Healy: Going to Ipswich has been great

Two games into my new career at Ipswich Town and I have to say I’m loving it.

After sitting on the bench or in the stands for most of the season with Sunderland, it’s fantastic to feel part of things again at a football club.

I got a good reception from the fans at Portman Road last week and before a minute had gone I’d helped set up our opening goal.

It was a great start, but unfortunately we couldn’t hold on and ended up drawing 1-1 at Middlesbrough.

We got a win in midweek though at QPR which will do wonders for the confidence.

Hopefully we can now put a few wins together and start climbing the table. I’m buzzing. I really do feel like a footballer again.
