David Healy: Liverpool boss Rafa must strike now or else!

For Liverpool supporters this really is a one step forward, two steps back season.

After securing a terrific win over Spurs, they went to Wolves on Tuesday night and could only manage a 0-0 draw.

It was yet another blow to their hopes of finishing in the top four. Without the injured Fernando Torres, who is out for another month and with Steven Gerrard not fully fit they lack a cutting edge.

Spurs, Manchester City and Aston Villa are going all out for the top four, so Rafael Benitez must buy a new striker or get one in on-loan to fill in for the brilliant Spaniard. Otherwise I can’t see them making the Champions League next season.
