David Healy: Maradonaboys will march on

The match between Argentina and Germany tomorrow looks to be the pick of the quarter-finals for me.

I can’t help admiring the Germans. In recent World Cups they have come in with experts writing them off, but they always end up being contenders. They are a team who gets the job done.

England found that out. Now the question is will Argentina, my tip for World Cup glory, go the same way?

They have really impressed me with their attacking style of play, clearly demanded by Diego Maradona who is getting the best out of his players.

Carlos Tevez is on fire, Gonzalo Higuain is scoring for fun and Lionel Messi is pulling the strings. Much as I like how the Germans go about their business, I believe Argentina will have too much firepower for them.
